Hélène Courchesne

Manager: Planning and Funding Brokerage Hélène completed his bachelor's degree in psychoeducation, with a specialization in intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorders, at the University of Quebec in Trois-Rivières. She completed her B.A. in Psychoeducation, with a specialization in developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. Over the course of her career, she has provided consultation and training to caregivers and professionals who provide services to people with developmental disabilities experiencing concurrent challenges, such as behavioural difficulties or mental illness. A one of the program managers at ABLE2 (Ottawa), Hélène’s portfolio includes the Funding Brokerage and Person-Directed Planning and Facilitation programs. Through this work she supports people with disabilities, with their families, to build lives of meaning and joy as valued community members.
