Dr Anne-Marie Goyette

Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician Following an undergraduate degree in Occupational Therapy at McGill University, Dr. Goyette worked briefly as an OT in pediatrics in Montreal. She then completed her medical education at the University of Montreal, prior to a residency in General Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) in Ottawa. She then returned to Montreal for her subspecialty training in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at the Montreal Children’s Hospital of the MUHC. In 2012, she pursued a fellowship training in Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) at the University of Manitoba and at the University of Alberta. Currently, she works as a developmental pediatrician in the assessment and intervention of children and adolescents with various neurodevelopmental disabilities (Autism Spectrum Disorder, Language disorder, ADHD, rare genetic syndromes, etc.). She is one of the two founding pediatricians of the first FASD diagnostic clinic in Quebec, on the Cri Territory of James Bay. Finally, she also works in two social pediatrics clinics that are a part of the Dr Julian Foundation (Verdun and Kuujjuarapik), alongside families presenting with various vulnerabilities.
